Barbershop membership plans in the Barbercita owner app: price, members and covered services per plan
Why it's better

One-off cuts pay the bills. Members pay them early.

Most booking apps treat every visit like a first date. You fill the book from scratch every month and hope the slow weeks aren't too slow.

Barbershop membership software turns your regulars into a monthly number. Plans renew on their own, the visits they cover are priced for you, and you can see next month's floor before it shows up.

The basics

How barbershop memberships work

A membership is a recurring haircut plan: the client pays a set price every month, or once for a prepaid pack, and the services it covers are already paid when they book. You decide what's covered and how often. There are three ways to set one up, and most shops run more than one.

Unlimited plans

One monthly price, as many covered visits as they want. Great for weekly regulars and the guys who can't go four days without a lineup.

Capped plans

Two cuts a month, a cut plus a beard, whatever you set. Each covered service gets its own limit, so the math always works for you.

Prepaid packs

Sell five visits up front with an optional expiration. Visits count down as they're used. Money now, chair time later.

Pricing your plans

What to charge for a haircut membership

Price a monthly plan around two to three visits. A weekly regular saves money, you get paid up front, and the slow week in March doesn't touch your rent.

Quick math: a $35 cut, three times a month, is $105. Put him on an $89 unlimited plan and he saves $16, while you get $89 on the 1st, even the month he only shows up twice.

Barbershop membership questions

What is a barbershop membership?
A plan your regulars pay every month (or once, for a prepaid pack) that covers the services you pick: unlimited cuts, two cuts a month, a cut plus a beard, whatever you decide. They book like normal, and the visits it covers are already paid.
How much should a barbershop membership cost?
Most shops price a monthly plan around two to three visits' worth, so a regular who comes every week saves and you get paid on the 1st whether it rains or not. Former Times Barber Co, a shop on Barbercita, runs Unlimited Haircuts at $89/mo, Unlimited Executives at $120/mo and a Twice Monthly Haircut Club at $50/mo.
Can I offer unlimited haircuts without getting burned?
Yes. Set a limit per service per period, like two cuts a month, or make one service unlimited and cap the rest. The plan enforces it, so nobody's getting a free fade every Tuesday unless you said so.
Does Booksy have memberships?
Yes. Booksy says it sells memberships through Booksy Web, its desktop version, and its plan is $29.99 a month plus $20 for each extra person (their pages, checked October 30, 2026). On Barbercita, memberships are in the owner app and the $35/mo plan covers every barber.
Do SQUIRE or theCut offer memberships?
Not that their own pages show. As of October 30, 2026, SQUIRE's pricing page doesn't list memberships on any plan (its client loyalty program is on Titan, $250/mo per shop), and theCut's comparison page doesn't list them either. Ask them before you count on it.
Can members pay by bank?
Yes, if you turn it on. A bank payment starts the membership the day it clears, not before. No free cuts while the money is in the mail.
Can clients cancel?
Yes, from your app. They can turn off auto-renew and keep their perks to the end of the period, or end it now. You choose which of those they're allowed to do.
Do memberships cost extra on Barbercita?
No. Memberships come with the one $35/mo plan, every barber included. The only add-on we sell is the Business Line phone number.

Every feature. One plan.
